Backseat Rally Stages and Routes

An illustrated October 20 Stage Select reference documents five named routes: Pine Forest, Alpine Pass, Sakura Pass, Riverbend Canyon and Costa Limone. Their names are useful for choosing a map and researching a particular medal, but only the active game's Stage Select can confirm whether an update has changed the list or its details.

The gold times below are a reported Orso 4 reference from a dated independent directory; they are not first-hand laps or universal goals for every vehicle. The selected car and the gold target displayed at your current start line matter more than a fixed number copied from an older website.

Stage Reported setting Reported Orso 4 gold How to use the data
Pine Forest Finland / forest dirt 1:12.0 Some sources have shown a different Pine Forest target
Alpine Pass Switzerland / snowy mountains 1:23.5 Recheck the start panel for your car
Sakura Pass Japan / frequent bends 1:20.5 Use as an October 20 historical reference
Riverbend Canyon Canyon roads Verify in-game No invented target in this edition
Costa Limone Italy / coastal roads Verify in-game No invented target in this edition

Pine Forest: first timed stage practice

The reported early route uses forest dirt roads and roadside markers. Learn where the Service Park start box sits, stop properly and make the first finish before chasing a medal. One reference shows 1:12.0 for Orso 4, while another has shown a 1:20 target in a different context. It is safer to record your current start panel than to call either number timeless.

Alpine Pass: plan speed before hard corners

Publicly documented views show a route moving from wooded roads toward snow. The independent Orso 4 reference is 1:23.5, which may not match the target under another car. Pay attention to HARD turn cues, avoid accelerating into a blind bend and save a clean first attempt for comparison.

Sakura Pass: consistent direction changes

This route is presented in a Japanese setting and is associated with many corners. Instead of trying to beat every split at once, practise reading consecutive co-driver calls and completing controlled exits. The dated directory's 1:20.5 is an Orso 4 reference, not a guarantee about your selected car.

Riverbend Canyon: inspect the current stage menu

The route appears in newer Stage Select directories, but we cannot verify a live universal gold target. Check the name, start prompt, available car and any surface indicators in-game. If you record a time, keep stage and vehicle together so it can be compared meaningfully.

Costa Limone: coastal road control

Recent directory captures describe a coastal route. Village and coastal sections can reward deliberate braking more than high straight-line speed. Again, use the gold target shown in your own game. A missing figure in this table is intentional: a useful guide should not invent precision where no confirmed current data exists.

How Backseat Rally Gold Medals Work

A gold target is the goal displayed by the game for a particular stage context. A personal best is the quickest time you have recorded. They are different numbers, and a quicker personal best does not necessarily mean you earned Gold. Before aiming for a specific threshold, check the route, active car and current panel.

Can two sources report different gold times?

Yes. They might refer to different cars or game versions, or they could have mistaken a player result for a target. Public references have disagreed on Pine Forest's goal. This is exactly why a record without a vehicle label is incomplete. Treat the game's current GOLD number as the one to enter in the calculator below.

How to compare a run fairly

Record your car name, route, time and any penalties. Only compare times from the same context when evaluating a driving technique. A one-off ghost or leaderboard result does not replace your own route's current goal.

Gold Medal Time-Gap Calculator

Enter the target shown in your own stage panel and your completed run time. The calculator does not guess a goal for you. It simply converts minutes and seconds and tells you how far away you are; it is useful when the stage or car changes. If a result already includes penalties, do not add those penalties a second time.

Enter the target from your stage and your own result.

What a positive or negative gap means

A positive gap is how much time you still need to save to reach the entered goal. A negative gap means your recorded time is already below that number, subject to the game's actual medal logic. A zero gap means the two entered numbers are the same. Always compare with the game's finished result and the current panel before calling a medal earned.

How to Start a Timed Stage

  1. Select a usable car and a route from Stage Select.
  2. Choose an AI navigator or ensure your friend accepted the co-driver invitation.
  3. Drive to the start marker and stop in the box when instructed.
  4. Use the action currently shown on screen to start the countdown, then wait for GO.
  5. Complete the route and inspect time, medal, sector and reward information.

Published desktop instructions sometimes show Enter or other keyboard controls for confirmation. Touch and controller inputs differ. If you do not see a timer, return to the start box and verify the prompt rather than assuming the entire stage is broken.

Improve Your Time Without Guesswork

Start with a completed run under controlled conditions. Read the slowest sector. Make one change—brake earlier for a hard corner, turn in less aggressively or listen for the co-driver's warning sooner—then compare another run with the same car and stage. Changing several things at once makes it difficult to identify why your result improved.

Avoid entering bends at maximum speed just to gain time before the apex. Spins, wall impacts and long recoveries can cost more than a cleaner corner entry. For co-driver races, agree on short direction and severity calls before you start. For solo races, pay attention to how early the AI gives each instruction and reduce speed if you cannot react comfortably.

Medal-related rewards may not be repeatable in the way ordinary stage-finish rewards are. Use CR and XP to understand one-time and conditional income, Cars for level-based vehicle unlocks and Co-Driver when your navigator setup is the problem rather than the route.

Stage Sources and Version Limits

The five-route menu and example values were reviewed in Bloxron's stage reference, with contextual explanations in an independent stages guide and gold-time guide. We did not personally earn these medals. Values shown are dated public reports and should be reconfirmed on the live Roblox stage-start panel after an update.
